Sunday's Suds & Social was great fun! 
We raised money for the Animal Rescue Coalition of Nova Scotia and it was a great chance for pup-parents to meet ARC representative Annette .  

Words  just can't express adequately our thanks all of you who took part in the event. We hope you and your pup had a grand time and that you'll be back for next year's  S&S.

Important Information

Prior to any boarding or day care a scheduled Social Assessment where your dog comes in for a free play session to check us out. We take the time to learn about your dog's medical and behavioural history, playstyle and personality.

On your first visit (and once every year thereafter) we require proof of veterinary annual wellness checks and proof of spaying/neutering of adult dogs.

We do require the standard Puppy Vaccinations with Rabies re-vaccination at 5 year intervals.  At any point in the initial or subsequent visits we may ask that your dog be vaccinated for Bordetella. (ie: dogs under a year of age, senior dogs or dogs with high-separation anxiety)

In the event that your furkid has had  ANY vaccinations (ie: Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, Bordetella) by injection or inhalation method we must be notified prior to the dog being admitted on-site. In some cases, these injections can be 'shed' in the feces.  The Bordetella Inhalation can be 'shed' from the nasal cavaties.  As well, you should be told by your Veterinarian that the Bordetella Vaccination can actually cause your dog to develop Bordetella and even when effective as a preventative measure  the vaccination has an average life-span of 6 to 8 months.
