Ocean was found on the Maritime Animal Rescue Website. Off Nicolle and her pal Angela went to Bishopville, Kings County, where at the edge of the Fundy Basin sits the Kings County Animal Control. Ocean arrived there after she was picked up by a resident who noticed this scraggly little 6 month old dog wandering at the side of an old country road. He picked her up and fed her skeletal little frame until she was healthy. Since the nice man already had two dogs, he brought 'Girly' to the KGAC. The group posted her pic online and days later she was united with her forever home. Let it be known, Ocean has changed their lives for the better and she is dearly loved by her family...and everyone who meets this spunky little chick!
From Nicolle: "Rescue Pets are grateful to have a second chance at a new, better life. Educate yourself about bringing any pet into your home. Like Ocean's family, you may not realize your family is missing something until you adopt a pet and suddenly you know, 'cause your family feels complete! I love my dog and I want the world to know how great it feels to be loved BACK by a dog! It's a true gift!!!!"
