Ocean was found on the Maritime Animal Rescue Website. Off Nicolle and her pal Angela went to Bishopville, Kings County, where at the edge of the Fundy Basin sits the Kings County Animal Control. Ocean arrived there after she was picked up by a resident who noticed this scraggly little 6 month old dog wandering at the side of an old country road. He picked her up and fed her skeletal little frame until she was healthy. Since the nice man already had two dogs, he brought 'Girly' to the KGAC. The group posted her pic online and days later she was united with her forever home. Let it be known, Ocean has changed their lives for the better and she is dearly loved by her family...and everyone who meets this spunky little chick!

Lux is the newest member of The Chewed Slipper Family....and the most charismatic. His previous owners Vanessa, Cynthia and Gilda decided it was best to find a place where he could get out more and enjoy more attention.

Lux is Lower Sackville's NEW STAR! This lunky, playful and sweet Bassett Hound is a refreshing addition (Ocean has yet to throw the boy a bone) to the family! Nicolle, John, the boys and everyone who meets this guy get a TOTAL KICK out of his romps with other puppies, his excitement over walks or drives in the car and his total surrender when having his belly rub (he moans! Hilarious!!!)
